About Aubrey J. Holloway
Attorney
A 1986 graduate of Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, Jay Holloway practiced insurance defense and general litigation in Birmingham for 27 years before accepting the position of Managing Attorney, Alexander Shunnarah Personal Injury Attorneys, P.C., in September 2014. Prior to joining the Alexander Shunnarah team, he served as corporate litigation counsel for both Allstate Insurance Company and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, and as retained counsel for several other companies while a partner in Birmingham law firms. Upon arriving at Alexander Shunnarah Personal Injury Attorneys, P.C., Holloway immediately realized that helping injured or damaged individuals was so much more rewarding than defending lawsuits for insurance companies. He has been able to utilize his extensive courtroom experience, familiarity with the Alabama legal system and professional relationships built through years of practice to help forge an effective team of litigators and advocates to maximize compensation for those injured by the negligence or wrongdoings of others.
Holloway is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Cumberland School of Law, where he teaches Alabama Civil Practice and Procedure. He lives in Birmingham with his wife of 25 years.
