Paul Ardila

I was born and raised in Colombia before moving to the United States at 9 years old. I was very fortunate to receive scholarships to fund my education at the University of Georgia and Notre Dame Law School. During my time at UGA, I also received a year-long scholarship to attend UNESP in São Jose do Rio Preto, Brazil, as a Flagship Scholar.

As a litigator I have sharpened my skills to be very tough and thorough in my practice. I am passionate about creating well-developed strategies for my cases yet enjoy re-evaluating risks and counseling my clients to make the best decision whether it be through settlement or trial. I also hold a record verdict for $312,000.00 with only chiropractic treatment and approximately $20,000 in medical bills.

Outside of my professional life, I am a black belt and world medalist in Jiu Jitsu and was an NCWA national champion in wrestling. I also enjoy learning languages and I am fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, English, and have a rudimentary understanding of French.

As a criminal defense attorney, Jonathan defended well over fifty clients in front of juries and argued hundreds of motions on behalf of his client in front of the Georgia Courts. Jonathan worked tirelessly to protect the rights of his client, even to the point of successfully overturning a client’s wrongful conviction by taking that client’s case to the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Jonathan began his work in personal injury at a small firm in Norcross, Georgia.  Jonathan moved on to work for another personal injury law firm in the heart of Buckhead, before joining Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys in November 2021. As a personal injury attorney, Jonathan has represented clients all over the State of Georgia and helped them fight back against the greedy insurance companies that are only concerned about their bottom line. When an insurance company refuses to pay what it takes to make his clients whole, Jonathan does not hesitate to file suit in order to seek the justice his clients all deserve under the law. Jonathan has helped thousands of clients recover millions of dollars for their injuries.

Jonathan is proud to call Atlanta, Georgia his home.
