Shanna is a native of Albany, Georgia. She graduated from the Unsinkable Albany State University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Shanna also went on to earn her Master’s degree before attending law school. Shanna attended Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where she matriculated through the Criminal Justice Honors Program, was inducted into the Society of Scholars, and was the recipient of the pro bono service award with distinction. Shanna is currently licensed to practice in Georgia. Shanna has over 17 years of experience in the legal field, beginning as a paralegal. During her career, Shanna has massed a wealth of knowledge and skills in her arsenal. Shanna has litigation experience in criminal law, family law, and injury law. Shanna also brings strong negotiation and mediation skills to the firm as she is also a licensed mediator. Shanna also currently serves as the Program Director for the Dougherty County ADR Program, a program that she developed for the county. Shanna has a passion for people. She believes in fighting for her clients and caring for each case individually. Shanna currently resides in the metro Atlanta area with her husband and three children. During down time, Shanna enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring art.
