Traumatic Brain Injury
As a child, Brian watched “To Kill a Mockingbird” on television and was deeply impressed by the character and integrity of Atticus Finch. Despite being a fictional character, Finch epitomized the ideals of the legal profession, inspiring Brian to become the first lawyer in his family, a milestone that made his father immensely proud. Brian is known for his drive, focus, and dedication to his craft.
He currently serves as an adjunct professor of law at Cumberland School of Law, where he teaches courses in depositions and trial advocacy. Brian also volunteers as a bench judge and scoring judge for various law school trial competitions and moot court competitions. His previous roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, where he was the chairman of its legislative advocacy committee in 2013, and in 2011, he served on the Associate Board for the Alabama Arthritis Foundation.
In his personal time, Brian enjoys college football, traveling, cooking, hunting, and the outdoors. He values spending time with his family and friends, cherishing these moments as some of the best in his life.
