D. Michael Elkins cut his teeth as an attorney working for insurance companies but soon found he preferred working for the other side. He has been exclusively representing the injured since 1988.
Elkins sees himself as a problem solver for his client’s cases, working until their problems are solved. His natural penchant for arguing suits his days standing up to insurance companies over his clients’ claims.
In his opinion, there is no better feeling than bringing someone over to his way of thinking, be it an insurance adjuster, a defense attorney, a judge, or a jury.
He is proud that so many former clients have returned to him and have sent their family members and friends his way. His hobbies include collecting music and his love of popular music, which he has had since a young age. He is also a genealogy researcher who has traced his ancestry in this country back to the 1600s and has almost 50,000 people in his family tree.
