Ankur Shah

Biography

Ankur Shah is a litigator that has been practicing for over fifteen years. Mr. Shah obtained his undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science in Madison from the University of Wisconsin and his law degree at the University of Minnesota.

After law school Mr. Shah worked on presidential, Illinois state office, and congressional races.  He has also worked for preeminent Judge Brigid Mary McGrath in the Circuit Court of Cook County who presided over an individual commercial calendar in the Law Division.  Later, Mr. Shah worked for boutique firms in the Chicago area handling complex disputes where he obtained highly favorable results for his clients.  Mr. Shah then founded his own firm and continued to obtain favorable outcomes for clients in a wide variety of practice settings.

Mr. Shah is the author of Increase Access to the Appellate Courts: A Critical Look At Modernizing the Final Judgment Rule published in the Seton Hall Circuit Review.  He takes great pride in thoroughly examining the facts and law to ensure all angles of a dispute have been examined in order to obtain the best outcomes for clients.
