Ian has tried civil jury trials in state courts in Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia and Mississippi, and has tried civil jury trials in federal courts in Mississippi. He has been either lead or trial counsel in at least 20 civil jury trials, and been selected to lecture at Continuing Legal Education courses on the topics related to automobile injury cases.
After previously representing civil defendants/insurance companies, he now devotes his law practice to helping injured human beings in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee and Georgia recover for their harms and losses due to the fault of another.
Having taken nearly 1000 depositions in his law practice, Ian has extensive deposition experience; particularly, expert, medical and corporate depositions. Ian also has experience in complex litigation cases involving multiple defendants and parties involving defective products, wrongful death, automobiles, slip/trip fall, 18 wheeler cases and industrial accident/severe injury cases.
