Candace’s practice primarily focuses on bad faith claims, products liability litigation, tractor-trailer collisions and automobile wreck litigation. Candace handles federal as well as state court cases and has also handled appeals in front of the Supreme Court of Alabama. She is currently an active member of the Alabama State Bar and America Bar Association.

 

Candace attended the University of Mississippi where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Studies, and Psychology. After college, she went on to obtain her Juris Doctor degree from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, AL.  In law school, Candace was active in Cumberland’s trial advocacy program where she served as an executive member on the Cumberland Board of Trial Advocacy. Candace was the director of the 2018 Parham H. Williams Trial Competition and was a member of Cumberland’s National Trial Team. As a member of Cumberland’s national trial team, her team won the 2017 Michigan State Bar Young Lawyer’s National Trial Team Competition, and she also won an individual award for Best Direct Examination.

 

Candace currently lives in Hoover, Alabama and enjoys spending quality time with her family and three dogs.
